Aragvi

The Legendary 'Aragvi' is the official restaurant of the tournament. It is located in the heart of Moscow, in a historical building on the Tverskaya Street. Some of restaurant’s rooms are in 17th century medieval chambers, which were recently found during the restoration works. 'Aragvi' Restaurant was firstly opened in 1938 and since then many famous people loved being here – politicians, scientists, businessmen, musicians and actors. Nowadays renewed 'Aragvi'  is a modern and a very comfortable place with its own bar and even a cabaret theatre.

Тhe Russian Chess Federation is a public non-profit organisation that brings together individuals and chess federations of republics, territories, regions, federal cities, autonomous regions and autonomous districts of the Russian Federation. The Russian Chess Federation seeks to encourage development and popularization of chess in the country. RCF was established on 14 February 1992, and is the current sponsor of the annual Russian national children’s championship, the White Rook tournament among educational facilities, the Russian championship and other chess competitions. The Chess in the Museums programme was initiated in Russia by the RCF in cooperation with the Timchenko Foundation in 2012.
